Davis Library
continues its game-like approach to new student orientation. For the past two years, first-time college students
enrolled in “Gateway to
Success” courses offered on the Main Campus at University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College
have participated in self-guided tours of the library that are designed to
entertain as well as inform.
In keeping with the new tradition, this year’s students are
embarking on a “Comic-Quest” throughout the Davis Library (DL) Universe.
Yes! Davis
Library Staff and some new additions (select university faculty and staff)
to the building have assembled and gone graphic—paying special homage to and
parodying their favorite heroes from the pages of Marvel
Comics—all for the sake of teaching and learning.
