Another (Friendly) Viewpoint

View of Davis Library's Grounds around 3 p.m. Wednesday 10.23.13

It’s National Friends of Libraries Week and also the 10th Anniversary of the founding of Friends of the Davis Library!

To celebrate, enjoy a morning coffee break with Friends…

Join Your Friends @ Davis Library on Thursday, October 24th around 8:30 a.m. in the Information Literacy (IL) Instruction Classroom –DL 208—located on the library’s Top Floor.

Founded in 2003, Friends is an all volunteer organization made up of students, faculty, staff and alumni as well as members of the larger community. The group’s primary focus is on organizing public programs and other special events that enhance the educational, cultural and social environment both on and off campus.  Our library users enjoy and look forward to these types of activities.

Friends—old and new—are always welcome! So, please consider showing your support by becoming a Friends of the Davis Library member, renewing your membership (see link below) or coming out to drink coffee with us bright and early tomorrow morning.
