Now that October is here, it’s starting to look like fall and
it’s time to celebrate!

Evans Farm Festival is coming up this weekend (Friday, October 11th, Saturday, October 12th & Sunday, October 13th) as well as lots of Redstorm Soccer and “Rockets
Over Rio!“

Every year at this time the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College (URG/RGCC) also celebrates its
annual “Community
Service Day” by canceling classes and closing all campus offices so students and various college
organizations can help out with the local festivities and do other volunteer work.
“Community
Service Day” for URG/RGCC is taking place this year on Friday, October 11, 2013.
- Don’t forget! Davis Library will be CLOSED all day that day.
- Regular Library Hours resume on Saturday, October 12th from 1-5 p.m.
Enjoy the time off and celebrate changing of the seasons by
going out and doing something good to support your local community!
