It’s All Happening!

It’s all happening as Davis Library’s National Library Week (NLW) celebration continues.

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 18th is “Support Teen Literature Day!” 

In recognition of the growing popularity of Young AdultLiterature (YAL) and the valuable role it plays in promoting literacy, the Friends of the Davis Library are sponsoring the following event:

~Books with Bite~
An Author Talk with Bryna Butler
Thursday, April 18 @ 1 PM on Davis Library’s Main Floor

Rio Grande alumna and creator of the Midnight Guardian Series (a succession of romance novels specifically geared toward teens with plots that include variety of paranormal twists) will be discussing her adventures writing and publishing books for young adult readers.

Light refreshments will be served… just in case you’d like a bite with books.

Thursday, April 18th is also “Poem in Your Pocket Day” a special occasion to highlight that April is National Poetry Month.  Davis Library is making poems available, so stop by and pick up a poem or two to read and share with others.
