Another (Frigid) Viewpoint

View of Davis Library's grounds around 11 AM Monday 1.27.14

It’s frigid!  It’s another cold and snowy day on campus here at the University of Rio Grande/Rio GrandeCommunity College.  If you need someplace warm to study or “chill” for a spell, Davis Library is the place.

We’re back to our regular hours where we’re open both evening and weekend…
  • Monday – Thursday ▪ 8 AM – 10 PM
  • Friday ▪ 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Saturday ▪ 1 – 5 PM
  • Sunday ▪ 5 – 9 PM
Throughout the winter months please pay attention to weather and road conditions via www.nixel.com as classes may be delayed or cancelled on occasion based on local public safety agencies reports.
Notifications about any campus schedule changes should be posted on the university’s home page at www.rio.edu or announced through the university’s RioNet Email messaging system and local area news broadcasts like News Channel 3 - WSAZ.

Don’t forget!  If we aren’t open, many of the OhioLINK Research Databases are still available online through the Davis Library’s Home Page found at:  www.rio.edu/library

Login is required for off campus access to many of these electronic resources.  View the tutorial below for details…

Then after-hours research help is available 24/7 from Ohio’s state-wide online reference chat services KnowItNow-Academic.

Stay warm and safe this winter!
