Classes start Monday, June 2, 2014 for the Summer I and10-Week Sessions here at the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College (URG/RGCC.)
As the new term begins, we want to announce some new changes
to the state-wide online reference services that Davis Library has been making available to
its users for after hours research help.
Know-It-Now Academic,
a service that was geared primarily for college students and OhioLINK users, is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
Now, links from the Davis
Library’s Website and LibGuides will
take users to Know-It-Now/24x7, a
similar service that is available to ALL Ohio residents. The chat forums here are staffed primarily by
librarians from Ohio’s public
libraries rather than academic
libraries. However, you should be
able to ask the same type of questions as before.
Remember the librarians staffing these chat forums are NOT located
at URG/RGCC, so they may not be able to answer specific questions about the Davis
Library or your class assignments.
In such cases, you’ll want to “Ask Us!” Contacting us is easy and our responses are
generally made within 24 hours.
