Memorial Day Holiday Weekend Coming Up Front

Davis Library and all offices at the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College will be closed this coming weekend (5/25-5/26) and Monday, May 27, 2013 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.  

Davis Library and all campuses will reopen on Tuesday, May 28^th and begin operating on our annual summer schedule of a 4-day work week, where business hours take place from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday – Thursday.  The university and its branch campuses will be closed Fridays until mid-August.  

Memorial Day is a federal holiday observed the last Monday in May.  The National Moment of Remembrance encourages all Americans to pause wherever they are at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day for a minute of silence to remember and honor those who have died in service to the nation.
