The first item CINAHL, which stands for the Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied
Health Literature, is the premier database for nursing research. Through OhioLINK services, Davis Library has
access to CINAHL Plus with Full-Text, a tool
that offers the world’s most comprehensive coverage of both nursing and allied
health studies with detailed information dating back to 1937.
This database not only provides access to the full-the text of hundreds of authoritative journals articles but also indexes a wide range of other well-respected publications and learning materials including Continuing Education Modules and Evidence-Based Care Sheets (EBCS).

EBSCO Publishing,
Inc. produces CINAHL Plus with
Full-Text, which utilizes the EBSCOhost
platform to deliver its online content.
You might already be familiar with the EBSCOhost platform as it employed
by number of other research databases offered through OhioLINK.
For example, Academic Search
Complete, a general all-purpose database applicable to a number of subject fields
that is introduced to our students in their first-year composition courses,
operates using this same system.
